Vibrant Guatemala and a family adventure

We rented an SUV for five days, weaving our way through the vibrant tapestry of Guatemala City, Panajachel, and Antigua. We dove headfirst into the local cuisine, reveling in the flavors of street food, discovering the art of chocolate making, and savoring the rich notes of incredible coffee. Navigating the hillsides under a torrential downpour was a wild ride, and learning some basic Spanish became our lifeline, especially when ordering a deliciously crispy pollo rápido from a local food stall. The sweetest memories, however, were those breathtaking sunrises and sunsets over the mesmerizing volcanic crater lake, Atitlán, shared with my family. This journey was more than just a trip; it was a retreat that stirred the soul, and it’s definitely not our last adventure exploring the wonders of Central America. Captured beautifully with the Fuji X20.
